Michigan Real Estate License Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • You must have obtained a high school diploma or equivalency certificate (GED)
  • Successfully complete 40 hours of an approved pre-license course
  • Successfully pass the Michigan Real Estate Exam (must be completed within one year of passing the pre-license course)

Pre-Licensing Course Overview

  • 40-Hour Michigan Department of Licensing approved course
  • Class duration: 5 days, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Class days: Thu, Fri, Mon, Tue & Wed
